We left home today without much of a plan. Just a van full of random stuff we might need. Those always turn out to be the best kind of adventures. Good day.

Comments FeedI love it! Those really are the best adventures–the ones where you pack with the idea that something fun is probably going to happen and you better have what you need to make the most of it (like, say, a soccer ball). Where is this, anyway?
Liv – I know! We found all sorts of things, I could have posted way too many photos. Cool rock formations and lots of bones topped the list. We did however wish we had 4WD… We drove out north of Reno. I kinda wanted to make it to the Black Rock desert (where they hold Burning Man), but we never made it. Found this place instead. The area around Pyramid Lake is amazing!! There are tons of dry lake beds separated by mountain ranges, apparently the remnants of Lake Lahontan (ice age). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Lahontan Your gonna love… when you come out ;)
